CW510L is lead-free brass (CuZn42)designed to offer excellent corrosion resistance and good machinability, while complying with health and environmental regulations. It is ideal for precision mechanical small parts applications, with diameters between 3 and 32 mm and lengths up to 250 mm.

When to avoid CW510L?

If it is required high mechanical strength (for applications requiring more durable or fatigue-resistant components, it is better to use materials such as stainless steel).

In highly aggressive environments (where superior corrosion resistance is required, such as in marine environments, where it is better to use AISI 316 or special alloys).

If the presence of traces of lead is not tolerated in very sensitive environments, despite compliance with regulations, particular standards may require extra evaluation.
